Penfolds 2026 EMEA AWARD
Recipient announced at WSET graduation in London
The Penfolds Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Prize, valued at €1,500, was awarded to Josée Baudouin at the WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) Graduation ceremony at London’s Guildhall Monday 27 April.
A Marketing Consultant at Communication Vigneronne, Josée achieved outstanding marks in the Level 4 Diploma in Wine in the last academic year, studying at WiSP, Bordeaux.

Growing up in Bordeaux, Josée always loved and was fascinated by the world of wine but felt a path into wine wasn’t possible. In 2019, Josée started her WSET journey following a career change from soft drinks to wine.
"WSET is far more than a line on my résumé. It has become a true passion and a framework for how I think about wine."

Josée will use the award to go and discover another wine region she is not familiar with in depth, to apply and cultivate her now extensive wine knowledge.
"I am so glad I won this award. I am beyond words. Completing the WSET Diploma is already a major personal and professional milestone. This award, and the prize that comes with it, will be an amazing opportunity for me to see for myself what I learnt. I know I will go and discover in depth a wine region I do not know yet, far abroad where I can apply and cultivate my now extensive wine knowledge."
Josée is the recipient of the Penfolds EMEA Prize awarded in partnership with WSET. The prize is part of the Penfolds Evermore program, delivering on a commitment to making a positive contribution towards a world where future generations can thrive.
