Celebrating another meaningful milestone of the Penfolds Fund
Launched to support the education and advancement of local winemaking talent in the fields of winemaking and viticulture in China, the Penfolds Fund, in partnership with the China Agricultural University, supports the development of talent and sharing of viticultural and winemaking expertise and includes financial support based on merit and need, academic and cultural exchange, and resources for wine education.
In late April, the Penfolds Fund Scholarship Award Ceremony was successfully held at China Agricultural University, recognizing 25 outstanding students for their academic excellence and passion for the industry.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Han Baofeng, Secretary-General of the China Agricultural University Education Foundation; Huang Zhenxiang, Party Secretary of the College of Horticulture; Fu Guoqiang, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean; and Professor Ma Huiqin, among others, who joined the students in witnessing the ceremony.
Beyond the scholarship awards, students also joined an immersive wine tasting and cultural exchange session led by our brand ambassador team, exploring Penfolds wines from iconic winemaking regions around the world while deepening their understanding of wine culture and blending craftsmanship.
Now entering its fourth year, Penfolds Fund continues to evolve, expanding scholarship support, enriching wine education programs, and extending learning opportunities to more universities across Beijing. The Penfolds Fund will soon include a student field study programs in premium Chinese wine regions, further connecting classroom learning with industry practice.
