Experiencing two world-renowned wine regions
The award-winning Bordeaux Mentor Week program takes place annually in September and provides a group of wine enthusiasts from across the globe a unique wine experience in Bordeaux, France.
Founded by Jane Anson and Chinedu Rita-Rosa, Bordeaux Mentor Week focus’ on advocating for equality, inclusion and access in the global wine industry, providing mentorship and education opportunities to young professionals from around the world.
Penfolds Evermore inaugural sponsorship of the program provided one participant the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience two world renowned wine regions but participating in a Penfolds Immersion experience in Australia.
Roxanne D’Souza, a sommelier from Mumbai India, was the successful recipient of the Penfolds Immersion experience. Roxanne joined our team in Australia where she participated in the Penfolds Collection media preview tasting, toured our spiritual home Magill Estate, shared her experience with school students from Nuriootpa High School and Morialta Secondary College, toured our wine making facilities and packaging centre, and learnt about circular solutions to waste with our Penfolds Evermore Australian grant recipient Mobius Farms.
