An immersive & galactic experience

To celebrate the release of our 2022 Penfolds Collection, we unveiled an out of this world wine experience over three nights from August 4 to 6 at Carriageworks in Sydney.

Guests journeyed into an unexpected and visually powerful world of space exploration with wine tastings, live entertainment and a special galactic-themed menu curated by one of Australia’s most impressive chefs.

This event was the first in a series. We will be visiting five cities around the world over the next few months. Check back for dates and locations.

Highlights from Sydney

Australian indie pop duo Client Liaison performed across the three nights, delighting guests with their energetic dance and electronic music. World-renowned music producer and international DJ, Dan Lywood also joined the entertainment line-up.

A delectable space themed menu was created by renowned Australian chef Nelly Robinson from Nel Restaurant – inspired by space mission samples and a childhood visit to NASA, Chef Nelly curated an interstellar gastronomy experience.

The Penfolds Collection 2022 comprises wines from two hemispheres - Australian and Californian wines. Each release in the Collection is underpinned by the enduring House Style and winemaking philosophy that Penfolds has proudly upheld since 1844.

A winemaking philosophy unbound by country, vine or time.

With careful cellaring these wines will gradually develop and reward patience.
