A continuation of an endeavour started over 25 years ago, when Penfolds winemakers first explored Californian soils. Alongside the flagship Quantum, the 2023 release includes Bin 149 Cabernet Sauvignon, Bin 704 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Bin 600 Cabernet Shiraz, and a new single-vineyard Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon.

After many years of winemaker exploration in the region, curiosity revealed an exceptional Oakville in Napa Valley that commanded attention. Sourced from Block 13A, Penfolds winemakers used time-honoured winemaking techniques during fermentation before the wine was matured for in French oak barriques to ensure consistent House Style.
